Tenders have been issued separately for each part and the Voiviodship has made it clear that rail services will only commence when both are completed. Work to Mirsk is underway to be completed by 8 January 2023 and the Tender onwards to Świeradów Zdrój is issued for responses by 5 October 2022 with work to be completed 9 months after contract signing. The aim is for passenger services to commence in December 2023. So it remains unclear what the through Gdansk - Kartuzy journey arrangements will be via lines 229 & 234 although the target re-opening date is January 2023.
